I started to see Olivia in early 2014 for fertility reasons. My partner and I had been trying unsuccessfully for a few years. I had all the tests done through the the hospital, I had an operation also to help with ovarian cysts which made no difference. I was told at the age of 30 to start looking into IVF. This didn’t sit well with me, I felt I was too young for such invasive treatment, I felt that I was being passed from pillar to post in the medical world with no one giving me a concrete answer or solution. I decided to look into acupuncture and found Olivia through a Google search.
I can say with all confidence that picking up the phone and calling Olivia was the best decision I have ever made. Initially, it was just so fantastic to finally understand what was going on with my body. Olivia is extremely thorough (and chatty! 🙂 ) and explains exactly what it is that’s happening in your system. Everything began to make sense. Other health issues that I’d previously thought were unrelated I began to understand we’re all interconnected.
Although the treatment is a commitment and results sometimes aren’t instantaneous, over time I began to see results in my whole body. Like a domino effect, everything began to improve. Apart from a more regular cycle, my whole system was healing itself.
15 months later I’m expecting the birth of our first baby any day now. I can 100% say that I don’t think this would’ve been possible without Olivia’s help.
Despite weekly visits, the cost has still only been a fraction of what IVF would have cost us. I feel like we really got to the root of what was going on rather than a “one treatment suits all” approach western medicine takes.
I think back to that day where i decided on a whim to give Olivia a call and feel incredibly blessed that I did. I couldn’t recommend her any more highly.
